- You will be fighting the North Vietnamese Army in certain missions.

- You’re an off-the-grid, best-of-the-best badass with a more important secret agenda.

- There will be “dedicated co-op” with separate levels. Treyarch changed the subject when the mag asked about World at War’s hugely popular Nazi Zombies.

- A multiplayer beta’s being “considered.”

- Treyarch will be improving mulitplayer by taking on feedback – even going so far as to openly acknowledge the under-the-map glitches that initially plagued World at War.

- Changes are being made to the matchmaking to “make it easier for [players] to get into games with their friends.”

- Multiplayer was up and running so early that some campaign levels were actually built from multiplayer maps.

- Create-a-Class 2.0 will allow you to customise yourself like never before. This should include kit and appearance items as well as perks.

OXM seems very excited about the game, saying, “The evolution Treyarch has undergone between World at War and Black Ops feels very familiar. In fact, we don’t have to look far to figure it out. We saw this exact kind of “oh-ha!” corner-turning in game design and execution from this very franchise back when Infinity Ward leapt from A-list to the AAA-list between CoD2 and the first Modern Warfare.”

The developer also seems excited about the game, with Treyarch boss Mark Lamia saying, “We’ve taken some creative risks… We want to do something different than we’ve done before. It’s time… We want the game to speak for itself.

ALSO, NOT FOUND ON AN UNNAMED WEBSITE!:

The keys for the not-announced-yet Black Op beta have been hacked! Team DX Coders, the same people that hacked the Halo:Reach Beta codes, have already got the codes before there was even a beta announced:

“They were in the same place we found Halo’s ones, more or less. Microsoft isn’t being too careful to hide the keys, but we expect that to change in the future. For now we will do the same thing we did with Reach, keep the keys under wraps until the Beta is fully announced, then share them.”

As always, the hacking forum that Team DX Coders is a part of is in a furor over the news, especially considering the well known distribution of keys that occured for Reach. No doubt we will see them floating around the net the moment the Beta is properly announced. The hacking team gave the keys out to various high profile websites, as well as over their own forums and youtube.

Of course, could this all be a ploy by Activision to increase hype for the game? Doubtful, considering a release date is so far away. It would be far more likely to be the case if this occured just after E3. When trying to reach Activision for comment, I was stone walled at every turn. Focussing on developer Treyarch instead, they let out this little gem “We can’t confirm that Black Ops will have a beta” Uhh…that’s not a no, guys.

I guess that means legally I can say “I can’t confirm that I am already testing Black Ops for Activision” – That should fly sufficiently under the NDA radar.

I'll update the second I find out more everyone,
so if you ever see this thread at the top just check it, even if it was just a reply posted.
We'll never know when things get released so just check it often and you'll have a BETA code when it comes out

Thats a really nice find. I'm getting a little bit more excited for this game.
